£400m Islington Square opts for PUDLO

A massive £400million development of the Edwardian former Royal Mail sorting offices in Islington will provide private housing whilst keeping the façade of one of the Royal Mail buildings. Aside from the residential apartments, Islington Square will also offer shops, restaurants, offices, a health club, cinema, and nearly 43,000 square feet of green space across rooftops in the heart of Islington. More than 4,000m3 of PUDLO modified concrete is being used within the basement levels, plant rooms and throughout one of the new blocks to ensure they remain protected and dry for Islington Square’s future residents who will start to occupy these new apartments later this year.
